I wanted to take the opportunity to sincerely thank you for the support and representation you provided to my son, Jack. We were referred to you after the late Simon Crean suggested we contact Charles Power, a former colleague, for guidance following Jack’s traumatic incident. Without hesitation, Charles connected us with you, and from our very first meeting both Jack and I felt confident that his wellbeing would always be at the centre of your advice and decision making. Throughout what became a long and difficult process, you saw firsthand the personal toll this matter took on Jack, particularly from a mental health perspective. The respect, patience, and care you showed in the way you engaged with him were truly admirable. While there were many possible directions the case could have taken, you consistently demonstrated an ability to read Jack, understand his triggers, and factor his mental health into your guidance—even in circumstances where continuing to fight may have resulted in a more favourable financial outcome. We were also deeply appreciative of the transparency with which you explained how your fees and commission were calculated, and the compassion you showed in fully supporting our decision to prioritise Jack’s wellbeing over pursuing further action. That level of understanding and humanity meant more to us than I can adequately express. We have immense respect and gratitude for everything you did for Jack. Although Simon is no longer with us, I have no doubt he too would have thanked you for your representation and professionalism.
